lucerne

loved getting to spend time in lucerne, switzerland.

our hotel where we took a walk up the road to see some pretty
Swiss scenery

our hotel was essentially on a cliff, which made for great views.
also loved the cute little bar at the edge of the mountain.

exploring the city...

so the whole time we were in Switzerland and Germany we were looking for any signs of my last name (it's german).

the closest thing we found was "Hotel Schiff"
haha! not quite Shoaff, but we were excited anyway.

the famous Chapel Bridge over the Reuss River!

one of my coolest memories...a toboggan ride down the swiss alps

pretty & peaceful.

switzerland surprised me in the best way possible.
it was beautiful, clean, spacious, and charming.

every morning we could hear the cowbells from the
cows grazing outside our window.

just one of many sweet memories from lucerne.
If you ever make it there, you HAVE to stay
at hotel bellevue in seelisberg.

it is on a mountain overlooking Lake Lucerne
with the cleanest/nicest/biggest rooms.
Emphasizing that because that is not something you can
always find in europe!

hopefully i will find myself back here one day!
